The XT8 chassis is CNC-machined from high-quality Swiss 3mm 7075 T6 hardcoated aluminum and is strategically machined in low-stress areas to make it as light as possible without affecting strength or rigidity. Material below the engine, fuel tank, and diffs has been removed to allow for the lowest possible center of gravity. The chassis has optimized weight balance with all parts centralized in the middle for perfect side-to-side weight balance. All screw holes on the bottom of the chassis are countersunk, allowing for a very smooth chassis underside with no protruding screw heads. The chassis is hardcoated at XRAY’s own in-house fully robotic hardcoating line, ensuring a perfect hardcoated surface.
