The Ultra Stable Clutch Spring has very similar characteristics to the X348540 Conical Clutch Washer Spring Set. The main difference is that the new ultra stabile clutch spring works in a wider range of conditions and is easier to install. In order to eliminate spring deformation during use, the spring was pre-compressed as part of the production process. This results in the spring having a slightly shorter length. The length and characteristics of the spring remain consistent even after a long period of use.
