The mini infra-red thermometer is ideal for measuring asphalt (track) temperatures, and the temperature of the speed control or motor. It is also useful for setting the correct mixture with glow motors. After 5 minutes of running time the temperature of a glowplug motor should be in the range 120° - 130°C.
